Rescue 31
is retired FDNY Special Operations Command unit that was acquired
by West End in April 2003. M&W Fire in Vinton, VA has refurbished
the unit with the following operational goals in mind:
- Vehicle Extrication
- Fire Rehabilitation
- Mass Casualty Incident
Response

Rescue 33
was acquired at a state auction and was a former Henrico Police
Cruiser. Its main purpose serves as a first response or quick response
vehicle (QRV) for lieutenants and officers. It is equipped with
BLS supplies and an AED.

Affectionately
known as the twins, Rescue 35 and 38 were acquired
in 2002 from Wheeled Coach and serve as the squad's main patient
transport trucks. They are ALS equipped with Lifepack 12's and respond
throughout the city of Richmond being dispatched by Richmond
Ambulance Authority for EMS calls.

Rescue 39
was a former Battalion's Chief Vehicle for Richmond Fire Department.
The 4-wheel drive GMC Suburban is the support vehicle for Rescue
31 offering MCI supplies and man-power transport.
